All Natural Projects of the Month

Yikes, I'm a bit slow in getting these posted. May was a hectic month around here! Anyway, here are the instructions for some of May's Projects of the Month. All of these cards use the retiring stamp set "All Natural" from Stampin' Up! This stamp set will no longer be available after June 30th.

Rose Flower Card

Ink: Regal Rose, Black or Brown ink

Cardstock: Regal Rose, Rose Red, Sahara Sand, Rebecca Designer paper

Accessories: Rose Grosgrain ribbon, corner rounder, hole punch

Fold large Regal Rose in half.
Stamp Flower in Regal Rose ink on left side of Sahara Sand cardstock. Stamp Thank You in black or dark brown ink on lower right corner.
Adhere to patterned paper and then to Rose Red cardstock as shown in picture. Punch hole in right side of Sahara Sand Cardstock. Tie ribbon through hole and around right edge of Rose Red Cardstock.
Adhere to Regal Rose base.

Apricot Flower Card

Ink: More Mustard and Regal Rose

Cardstock: Whisper White, Regal Rose, Apricot Appeal, Rose red, Palette of Prints

Accessories: Flower punches, soft subtles brads, glue dots

Fold large Apricot Appeal Cardstock in half.
Ink square stamp in More Mustard ink. Stamp off on scratch paper once and then onto the white square. The objective is to lighten the stamped image.
Stamp flower image with Regal Rose ink on top of More Mustard square.
Adhere square to Regal Rose square.
Adhere patterned strip to Apricot card base. Adhere square.
Layer the punched flowers as desired (you have more than you need). Put them on a mouse pad or other foam-like pad and punch a hole through the center with a strong straight pin, safety pin, or paper piercer. Put brad through the center and unfold the prongs.
Adhere to card with glue dots.

Pear Card

Ink: More Mustard, Regal Rose, Old Olive (or any other green), Basic Black ink

Cardstock: More Mustard, Old Olive, Very Vanilla

Accessories: Paint brush, Aqua Painter or Blender pen

Fold large More Mustard Cardstock in half.
Stamp pear image 3 times on Very Vanilla cardstock. TIP: stamp the middle image first and then the other two. Let it dry before watercoloring.
With your ink pads closed, squish the lid onto the pad part. Open the ink pads. Some of the ink from the pad should have transferred to the lid. Do this with all 3 colors.
If you’re using a green marker, scribble a little bit onto an old plastic lid and use that as your watercolor palette.
Pick up some of the green ink with your brush or blender pen. Apply a little bit of it to your stamped pear. Do the same with your Rose ink. Then go over the rest of the pear with your Mustard ink, blending it into the other colors. You’ll have variations in the tone of your mustard ink, which is good.
Stamp Thank You on the top right corner of your folded card.
Once the water colored images are dry, tear off a bit of the top edge. Adhere to Old Olive layer and tear the top of that edge. Adhere to card base.
