April Projects of the Month Instructions

Here are the instructions for April's Projects. All of them use the "Doode This" stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Brown Flower Card


Ink: Tempting Turquoise and So Saffron Markers, Black or Brown ink

Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Naturals Ivory, Tempting Turquoise, Au Chocolat Paper

Accessories: Turquoise Grosgrain Ribbon, Antique Brass Hodgepodge Hardware, stampin’ dimensionals

Fold large Chocolate Chip in half.
Stamp Flower image on Naturals Ivory cardstock. Let dry and then outline flower with So Saffron Marker. Color in dots with Turquoise marker.
Adhere focal point layers together.
Tie ribbon onto hodgepodge clip. Slide onto edge of focal point.
Adhere decorative paper as shown in photo. Adhere focal point with Stampin’ Dimensionals

Red and Turquoise Flower Card


Ink: Tempting Turquoise and Certainly Celery markers, Basic Black Classic Ink

Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron, Real Red

Accessories: White Gel Pen, red and cream grosgrain ribbon, hole punch.

Fold large Real Red Cardstock in half.
Stamp flower image on Turquoise cardstock several times. Once dry, go around outline of flower with Tempting Turquoise marker. Color in leaves with Certainly Celery Marker. Color in dots with white gel pen.
Punch 1-2 holes in side of turquoise cardstock and tie ribbon through.
Adhere all layers together.

Saffron Flower Card


Ink: Certainly Celery and So Saffron markers, Basic Black ink

Cardstock: Petals & Paisleys Double Sided Paper, So Saffron, Basic Black, Taken With Teal, Certainly Celery

Accessories: White Gel Pen, Stampin’ Dimensionals, paper snips

Fold large So Saffron in half.
Stamp flower on smaller So Saffron piece in Basic Black. Stamp it again on Certainly Celery piece. Outline saffron flower with saffron marker and use white gel pen on the dots. Outline 3 petals of the Celery flower with the celery marker. Cut out Saffron flower and 3 petals from the Celery flower. The celery flower petals will be used as leaves.
Adhere the square Teal and Black pieces together. Adhere cut out flower and leaves to the squares.
Adhere rectangular pieces together and then onto card. Adhere square to card base using stampin’ dimensionals.
