March Projects of the Month Instructions



Here are the instructions for the Projects of the Month for March. Enjoy!

Celery “Happy” Card

Supplies:

Stamps: Polka Dots & Paisleys
Ink: Tempting Turquoise and Certainly Celery markers
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Petals & Paisleys Double Sided Paper
Accessories: Stampin’ Dimensionals


Fold large Certainly Celery Cardstock in half.
Fold up one long edge of designer paper and glue down. Adhere to top half of card.
Use brush tip end of Tempting Turquoise marker and color directly on the Happy stamp. Breathe on it to remoisten the ink and stamp on Whisper White Cardstock.
Use brush tip of Certainly Celery marker and ink flower outline image. Stamp randomly on bottom half of card, re-inking each time.
Adhere the white “happy” rectangle to the celery, turquoise, and pink layers.
Adhere to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.


Turquoise “Happy” Card

Supplies:

Stamps: Polka Dots & Paisleys
Ink: Tempting Turquoise and So Saffron markers, Basic Black Classic Ink
Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, Naturals White
Accessories: Gold Cord



Fold large Tempting Turquoise Cardstock in half.
Stamp Paisley randomly on Naturals White Cardstock with Black ink. Let dry a couple minutes and then color paisleys in with markers.
Tear both of the long edges of the white cardstock.
Adhere to Black cardstock and tear both long edges of black cardstock also.
Wrap gold cord around white and black cardstock three times, lengthwise, and tie in a bow. Adhere to card base.
Stamp “Happy” in black on Turquoise cardstock.

Chocolate Chip Flower Card

Supplies:

Stamps: Polka Dots & Paisleys
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery and So Saffron markers
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White
Accessories: White Magic Mesh, Turquoise Grosgrain ribbon, Naturals button, Linen Thread, glue dots


Fold large Chocolate Chip Cardstock in half.
Use brush tip end of markers and color directly on the flower stamp, starting with the lightest color, Saffron, on the small circle at the base of the flower/top of the stem. Then color remaining image. Breathe on stamp to re-moisten it and stamp on white square cardstock.
Repeat 2 more times for a total of 3 flowers.
Adhere to Turquoise square and set aside.
Unroll white Magic Mesh. It has a sticky side and not-so-sticky side. Place sticky side across Chocolate Chip cardstock.
Adhere Turquoise ribbon to card with glue dots.
Tie linen thread through button. Adhere button to ribbon with glue dot.
Adhere stamped image to mesh with glue dots (1/corner).

You've made me wish I had some of the DSP you used in the first card - I like using that set, but never purchased the corresponding DSP - oops!
